January Happenings...

Barry and I went to the open house of the Draper temple. It's a beautiful temple with a back drop of corner canyon. There couldn't have been a more beautiful spot. Looking out over the valley you can see the Jordan River Temple and the Oquirrh Mountain Temple (under construction). It was a great date to go on. We ended up going to the wrong church specified on our tickets. We stopped at the first church we saw around the address we were assigned, forgetting that in Utah there are churches sometimes across the street from each other. We finally noticed our mistake after we boarded the bus and was dropped off at the corresponding church. The parking lot color on our ticket was Red so we hopped on the Red bus. When the Red bus stopped at a church we didn't recognize, that's when it all hit. Instead of taking the bus back up to the temple, getting out and boarding a different bus to go to the correct church (the blue church), we found out that our final destination was about a mile from where we currently were and decided to walk. We had a great time walking together and made a friend with another member whom we gave bad directions to and was in the same predicament as us. All in all, it was a good day.

Kael loves the camera now. He poses and gives big cheesy faces. Not quite sure of the name of this face yet.
Helping mom by licking the beaters and bowl of whipped cream clean.
Every time I show Koen this pic he says "Yum, yum"
Kael and his super cheese smile
BIG super smile, complete with Barry curl
Alicia is one of my best friends I've known since we were both 6 years old and have remained close throughout the years. Alicia, Josh (hubby) and family have moved to NY and came to visit for the holidays and managed to squeeze us into their busy schedule.
I absolutely LOVE this family (Tatjana, Seppo, Alicia, Josh and Terai) and while taking their picture Koen insisted he be in their family pic. Miss you guys!!
