Cool Autumn Days

Just hanging out, enjoying some cool October days. Kael with his handful of leaves getting in position for a good leaf toss.

This particular day we all are doing a little cleaning. Dallin is sweeping the kitchen and having a good time at that. Kael was outside helping Dad suck up all the leaves with the lawnmower. What a good little helper! Job shadowing... Believe it or not our driveway and carport was covered with leaves. Thanks to the helping hands of dad, Kael and Hannah (sweeping), everything looked nice and clean for about an hour.

Koen did some great help with supervising the Operation Fall Clean-Up, along with his assistant Mr. Faceless Potato Head.

We took a day to play in the leaves! The kids had a fun time gathering a pile of leaves in their hands and throwing the up in the air. Everyone took turns. Leaf tossing is a very technical activity. You have to throw accurately to make sure all the leaves are falling separately and spaced out evenly for a nice floaty fall. Dallin is more of a casual tosser.

Here is another day at home enjoying the kids. Who needs TV when you have kids? You have your drama, comedy, adventure, discovery, entertainment around every corner! We introduced the twins to the sit and spins. It would be a great toy if it didn't have lovely music accompanying every spin.......
