Halloween!!

Yeah!! Halloween!! We love Halloween at our house. These pictures are in no particular order and certainly not in order. We start off with the day after Halloween we had a family party with all the grand kids, we're up to 8 now. So we have (Left to Right) Koen, Aidan, Dallin and Kael.
There were spooky shaped sugar cookies and cupcakes in cones that the kids got to decorate with their choice color of frosting and load whatever candy they could fit onto their cookie. Of course after a while they ditched the cookies and cupcakes and went straight for the bowls of candy! I am happy to report that we still had a lot of candy left over.
Aidan, I mean Captain Jack Sparrow, bit into a gummy worm that was a little too sour for his taste.

Little Munchy entertained us throughout the evening with her animal sounds and blowing kisses!

Very smart little girl.
Munchy in her costume, riding bikes outside with the kids before the party. Such a cute little stinker!
Captain Jack Sparrow slaying the princess! He was on such a slaying spree that both of his pirate swords were broken halfway through the evening.
A better shot of Munchy in her costume with her fluffy tail sticking out the back.
Dallin was Spiderman of which he wore his Spiderman p.j.'s the entire weekend switching between the blue and the red ones and then washing them to wear them again. This helped him tune into his Spidey senses.
Aidan displaying 3 missing front teeth and one of his pirate swords before the terrible sword tragedy.
Caught in a duel.
OK, now the twin's costumes need a little explanation. Barry and I procrastinated and went looking for their costumes the day before Halloween. Surprisingly, nothing that cool and matching in some way were available. After looking at a few stores and ready to settle for a couple of lame costumes I thought we might look in the baby section. Browsing around we found the perfect costumes! They were Superman and Batman pajamas! They were half the cost of the costumes on sale, they could wear them more than once AND they both had detachable capes! We thought these 2 characters would go good with our Spiderman. Barry held the costumes out for the twins to pick from the next day and Koen ran up to the Batman p.j.s, so it was settled.
Kids playing in the driveway with Uncle Bubba, waiting for everyone to arrive.

This is now Halloween night. Hannah is showing her bucket of goodies. I had to work so Barry braved the trunk or treat with the kids.

Some of our little Superheros!
Hannah and Dallin big smiles and lots of candy, faces of anticipation to start eating whatever dad will let them have.
Hannah dressed up as a Rainbow Fairy Princess.
Dallin was our little Spiderman.
