Our First Week in October

Well, October turned out to be a busy month for us. On the 2nd Barry and I headed up to Logan to attend Dustin and Tiffany's sealing.

I had to sneak this pic of the boys in at the beginning of this post. They love to hang out with each other whether they are awake or asleep. They are truely best friends.

This is the first time I have been to the Logan Temple and it's absolutely gorgeous! They were rebuilding gardens and a fountain at the front. I can't wait to see how it looks after.

Their sealer was actually pretty funny. Afterwards we hung out up front awaiting the bride and groom to exit. Great Grandma Michaelson was even able to attend.
The photographer snuck this pic of us at the wedding while we were waiting around getting family pictures taken. Love this pic! www.izlas.com/blog

Here comes the happy couple!

Dustin is Barry's cousin and their families were very close growing up. Tiffany was stunning. She is such a sweet and beautiful woman....welcome to the family!

Our turn for a few quick pics

It was a little chilly but still a beautiful day. Afterwards we all went to Sizzler for a Wedding Dinner.
We returned home for the night and headed out to Lyman, Wyoming the next day for the reception. This is Koen modeling his backpack and getting excited to leave.

He was so cute he just kept turning around, looking back at the camera and smiling. This is his Blue Steel look :)

We saw a lot of friends and family we haven't seen and I met a few for the first time. We stayed overnight in Lyman at the Gibb's beautiful home and had a wonderful visit. Afterwards we drove around for a bit and took a few pics. We've driven around Lyman before but never took pics so..... This is Barry's stompin' grounds. To prove how slow time moves here, the pile of rock and concrete in the middle of the pic was put there when he was a kid when the construction workers cleared that out to build a road leading to I-80 ....

Looking out over his childhood....
The house Barry lived in from approx 2 years old until he graduated high school. This house has been updated. It used to have a different color siding and the garage has been added on. Barry's elementary school
Barry's church where he played hours on end of basketball.
After we came home, we unloaded our bags and headed out to Chuck-E-Cheese to play with some old work friends. Kael is riding in a huge robot.
Riding in a monster truck, especially one that moves.... Hold on! Kael is even putting his hand across to keep Koen in!

Koen likes the Mini a little better. He's even looking while he backs it up :)
Playing a shooting game
Kael is very serious about his gaming....just like Daddy
Koen riding with one of his new friends.
Koen shootin' hoops with Dad.
Koen tried to escape all the arcade noise pollution but up here it's just as loud
Koen looking down....." Hi Mommy!"
Kael reaching through
Another fun sleeping pic. We check on them every night before bed and couldn't find them. We looked in all the usual places....Hannah's bed, the rocking chair, top bunk, bottom bunk, chaise.....but then I looked under the bed and ....
LOL.... They had dragged their pillows and blankets under as well.
So the boys stopped destroying everything every morning but one morning I was getting them cereal for breakfast and Koen said he wanted cookies and then ran up to Hannah's room. I followed, and Koen kept saying he wanted cookies. They slowly went over to the closed closet doors, opened it, and pulled out a box of half eaten crumb donuts and handed it to me. These were Uncle Reed and Aunt Raquel's donuts that they had on top of the fridge. Apparently they had climbed up on top of the counters and got on top of the fridge to retrieve the donuts and snuck into Hannah's closet and sampled each one and put it back.... LOL .... Uncle Reed and Aunt Raquel were very forgiving.
