The Grotto

With all the leaves starting to change we thought that warranted a trip to the canyon.  It's more of a "must do" in our home since we love the mountains and always find ourselves in them.  So we decided on a beautiful Saturday afternoon to go for a hike,  and better yet....a family hike, and I knew just the place.....The Grotto

I have been coming to the Grotto for decades.  I know, that really dates me, but it's the truth. 

It's such a great place to go hang out with friends and family or just be alone with your thoughts along with the cascading sounds bouncing off the rugged rock walls that projects the sounds of this little waterfall into more than it could ever hope to be.

The kids were instantly enchanted with the Grotto as if the place held secrets and wonders.
