The past month has been such a great month. I have had the opportunity to meet up with some old friends. I am lucky to know some really great people who I have grown up with and continue to be my friends through it all!
Barry and I got to meet up with George (not sure how the blue thing appeared on his nose) and his family during the 4th of July weekend. I've been close friends with his family, especially his mom, Marian, who is one of my favorite people! I've known this wonderful family since I was 18.
Here are a few of the girls I've known since we were all 5 years old. We all have remained friends through kindergarten, middle school and high school. Not only that, but we all lived within a block and a half of each other and went through primary and young womens together, celebrated numerous birthdays, and have supported each other through the good and bad. We get busy and loose contact for a little bit at times but when we get together we pick right up where we left off. We were lucky to arrange a lunch in the park with our kids and catch up. The beautiful women in this pic are to my right, Angel. On my left, Britney and Mayme. Although there were still quite a few of us either working or living out of state, I think it's safe to say that we will continue these friendships until we are all old, sitting in rocking chairs on a porch, knitting and discussing the latest and best denture adhesives. :) I would post a pic of us as youngin's but I'm pretty sure that every picture someone would be embarrassed by the height of the bangs, or their 80's attire :) Love you guys!
This is a pic of the last time I met up with Vic and Nate. When my family moved from Provo to Springville during high school I made some new friends who I also continue to keep in touch with. This was the last time we all met up which was about 6 years ago, after I had Aidan.
Nate has lived out of state and country (being Canadian and all), and Vic has been constantly busy touring with all sorts of bands and doing their tats (being French and all). I didn't get a chance to take a pic of meeting up with Nate and his wife because we were too busy having such a great time. Here is a pic of Nate and his Wife Raquel who is just beautiful and sweet. I'm so happy for them!
The next few pics are Barry and I going to my friend, Brent's wedding.
Brent has been one of my best friends/big brother since we were 13. He got married on the same date and place that I did my first time so I just had to bring a camera and get the picture of ME at HIS wedding!
